Planet Earth – Spalted Beech & Blue Resin Illuminated Wall Clock

A celebration of our extraordinary planet, handcrafted in wood, resin and light.

This one-of-a-kind Planet Earth wall clock combines the natural beauty of spalted beech with rich metallic blue resin to create a striking interpretation of the world we call home.

The continents are represented by the beautiful golden tones and distinctive markings of the spalted beech, while swirling blue resin forms the oceans. The natural grain, dark spalting lines and individual character of the timber make every detail unique.

Twelve brass hour markers surround the Earth design, complemented by contemporary black clock hands and a silent-sweep quartz movement.

A World of Colour

What makes this clock particularly special is its integrated LED backlighting.

A concealed LED strip around the rear of the clock creates an atmospheric halo of light against the wall, bringing an entirely different dimension to the design.

Using the supplied remote control, you can select different lighting colours and effects, including:

• A single, static colour
• Colour-changing sequences
• Flashing effects
• Strobe lighting

Whether you prefer a subtle glow or a more dramatic display, the lighting can be adjusted to suit your room and mood.

The LED lighting operates independently of the clock mechanism, so you can enjoy the clock with or without illumination.

Individually Handcrafted

Made from solid spalted beech, this clock celebrates the remarkable patterns created naturally within the timber.

The blue resin has been carefully incorporated into the Earth design, with its metallic swirls creating depth and movement across the oceans.

Every stage of the clock's construction, resin work, sanding and finishing has been carried out by hand in my Gloucestershire workshop.

This is the exact clock shown in the photographs, making it a truly individual piece of functional wall art.
