How the Humble Woodshed started ....

Hello, name is Mike and back in May 2019 I suffered a breakdown. Alongside the complete love and support of my family, an excellent GP, medication and therapy, The Humble Woodshed was born. I am a carpenter by trade and re-igniting my passion for woodwork over this time has been a key part to my recovery.

The joy I get from crafting from natures sources has been a real saviour, but to be able to share that joy with you - 'the customer' is even greater. Here at the The Humble Woodshed, everything is handmade - not mass produced. Every single item is unique and I use recycled timber and packaging materials wherever I can. I also source local, sustainable wood from reputable suppliers.

The aim is to bring some of nature indoors for you to share with friends and family, whether that is in the shape of a clock, vase, bookends or ornaments.
